An offer is used to conclude contracts in many online services. Concluding a contract consists of an offer and an acceptance.
An offer is a proposal to conclude a contract.
An acceptance is agreement with the offer terms, expressed by a specific action stated in the offer. Acceptance is equivalent to a signature and seal on a paper contract.
In Passquare, acceptance is checking I have read and agree to the terms when you create an account, as well as paying for the service. Completing these actions separately or together is a full and unconditional acceptance of the Agreement, clause 1.5: https://passquare.com/offer.
An offer is convenient. If the service used a two-sided paper contract, each new customer would require collecting details, printing and sending a paper contract, receiving a signed copy, and repeating all of that when the legal entity changes. That would add time and cost, which would affect the price of the service. Passquare uses only electronic document flow, which simplifies paperwork and speeds up onboarding.
