Why you need your own certificate

To issue Apple Wallet and Google Wallet cards, each organization must have:

• An Apple Developer account ($99 per year);
• A Google Merchant account (free);
• Certificates in the accounts listed above.

Apple Wallet card usage is governed by the “Apple Developer Program License Agreement” at https://developer.apple.com/terms/. Restrictions are described in “Attachment 5”.

Google Wallet card usage is governed by:

• Google Pay Policies For Businesses
• Google Pay and Wallet APIs Acceptable Use Policy
