Add active links on cards

You can place active links on cards. When a customer taps a link, they are taken to the destination. Typical links include the website, social media, phone numbers, an address, and online booking.

Links on Apple Wallet cards

Active links are available on the back of the card. For links to be tappable, add them in the required format.

Go to Card templates → Edit template → Apple Wallet → Back.

Click Add field.

In Label, enter a heading, for example "We are on social media". In Text, enter:

  • For a website link: <a href="https://facebook.com/page_name">Visit our Facebook page</a> — where https://facebook.com/page_name is the link to your Facebook page, and "Visit our Facebook page" is the text shown on the card. Tapping the link opens your page.
  • For a Telegram link: <a href="https://t.me/Passquare_wallet_bot">@Passquare_wallet_bot</a> — where https://t.me/Passquare_wallet_bot is the link to your bot or group, and @Passquare_wallet_bot is the text shown on the card. Tapping the link opens that resource.
  • For a phone link: <a href="tel:+15555550100">Contact the operator: +1 (555) 555-0100</a> — where +15555550100 is the phone number, and "Contact the operator: +1 (555) 555-0100" is the text shown on the card. Tapping the link offers to place a call.

Links on Google Wallet cards

Active links are available in the card details. Add them in the matching fields.

Go to Card templates → Edit template → Google Wallet → Additional fields.

Click Add link.

  • For a website link: in Link text, enter the text shown on the card, for example "Visit our Facebook page". In Link, enter the URL. Tapping the link opens your page.
  • For a Telegram link: in Link text, enter the text shown on the card, for example @Passquare_wallet_bot. In Link, enter the URL, for example https://t.me/Passquare_wallet_bot
  • For a phone link: in Link text, enter the text shown on the card, for example "Contact the operator: +1 (555) 555-0100". In Link, enter the phone in this format: tel:+15555550100, where +15555550100 is the phone number. Tapping the link offers to place a call.
