Wallet Passes built for Dental Clinic

Challenge

Patients finished treatment and vanished. Hygiene every six months was a phone call they ignored. Family members of the patient were never on the list. Plastic cards sat in a drawer.

Strategy

The Wallet Pass stored only the next hygiene date the patient chose — not a chart. A push 14 days before, plus a family-invite on the back of the pass. No health claims, only the date and a booking link.

Implementation

Date on the pass

At checkout the patient saved the next hygiene date. Passquare stored it as a loyalty field, not as a record. The reminder could be turned off from the pass.

Counter issuance

A tablet issued the Wallet Pass after phone verification. Plastic cards were no longer given to new patients.

Family invite

A personal promo on the back of the pass invited a family member. Both received a small bonus when the second pass was installed.

Results

After 6 months:

  • On-time hygiene. Patients with a saved date returned on time 29% more often.
  • Family base. The clinic added 18% more family members through the pass.
  • Plastic retired. 58% of active patients moved off plastic cards.

Conclusion

The clinic kept charts in its own system. Wallet Passes carried only a date the patient chose and a quiet reminder — enough to fill hygiene without another call.
