Wallet Passes built for Outdoor Store

Challenge

Online buyers never walked into the Santiago store. In-store customers never saw a restock online. Two loyalty schemes, two databases, declining floor traffic.

Strategy

One Wallet Pass covered both channels. A geo offer when the guest was near the store, plus a reserved fitting for a watched size, turned website browsers into visitors.

Implementation

One pass, two channels

Checkout and the till both issued Wallet Passes into the same profile. Size and category travelled with the pass.

Abandoned packs

If a logged-in guest left a pack in the bag for 24 hours, a push offered to reserve it in-store instead of only repeating a website discount.

Near-store invitations

Opted-in guests close to the shop received a push when their size was in a watched jacket. Staff could prepare the fitting.

Results

After 5 months:

  • Online to store. Shop visits from existing online customers grew by 19%.
  • Repeat across channels. Omnichannel repeat purchases rose by 15%.
  • Geo conversion. 10% of near-store pushes led to a same-day visit.

Conclusion

Outdoor retail already has a size and a season. Putting both on one Wallet Pass is what a floor can do better than a parcel.
