Challenge
Food subscriptions dropped after two or three deliveries. One-off shoppers never came back, and the store knew almost nothing about the pets — not the birthday, not the food type, not when the bag should run out.
Strategy
The Wallet Pass signup asked for pet name, type, and birthday. Last food purchase estimated a “bag running low” date. A push went out a few days before that date, and a separate birthday offer appeared on the pass. Subscription customers got a pause-and-resume reminder instead of a hard sell.
