Wallet Passes built for Yoga Studio

Challenge

Ten-class packs expired unused. 7 a.m. classes waitlisted; 2 p.m. classes were empty. Members forgot they had credits left until the pack died.

Strategy

Remaining classes and the next booked session sat on the Wallet Pass. A reminder the evening before, a nudge when a pack had not been used for 12 days, and a freeze reminder before expiry.

Implementation

Pack on the pass

The front showed remaining classes. Check-in updated the number with a short push.

Class reminders

Booked members received a push the evening before. If a 2 p.m. spot opened, unused credits nearby were invited first.

Unused credits

Members with a class unused for 12 days received one personal offer. Packs close to expiry got a freeze reminder, not a discount on a new pack.

Results

During 5 months in Denver:

  • Pack use. Classes used before expiry rose by 29%.
  • Off-peak fill. 2 p.m. occupancy grew by 17%.
  • No-shows. Booked no-shows dropped by 34%.

Conclusion

A yoga pack is a balance and a date. Putting both on a Wallet Pass is enough to fill the quiet class without another studio app.
