Phone number verification when issuing cards

Phone number verification lets you:

  • Confirm that the customer entered a valid phone number.
  • Confirm that the phone number belongs to the customer.
  • Let the customer restore the card on their own if they lose it.

After entering the code, a new customer can register and provide all required details. An existing customer will be offered to restore the card without filling in those details.

Verification options:

  • SMS — the customer enters the code they receive by SMS.
  • Call — the customer enters the last 4 digits of the phone number that places the call.
  • Voice — the customer receives a call, answers it, and enters the code spoken by the voice prompt.
  • WhatsApp — the customer enters the code they receive in WhatsApp.
  • Telegram — the customer enters the code they receive in Telegram.

You can enable one or more verification methods for the customer to choose from:

  • One verification method is available on any plan.
  • Two verification methods are available on Advanced plans and above.
  • Three or more verification methods are available on Expert plans and above.

Codes are sent through specialized services. You can connect WhatsApp and Telegram from your account. For SMS or call providers, contact Passquare support.

SMS, calls, and WhatsApp codes are billed separately from Passquare plans, in the services that provide these features.
